Common use of Group Term Life Insurance Clause in Contracts

Group Term Life Insurance. All teachers in the District will be insured under a group term life insurance policy paid by the Board to the extent of $50,000 per teacher. The Board will select the carrier.

Part-time teachers employed on a 50% or greater basis will be provided group term life insurance coverage, if desired, on a pro rata basis. In addition, employees may be able to purchase additional Group Term Life Insurance at their own expense, to the extent of $50,000 per teacher.
