The Grooming Plan clause outlines the requirements and procedures for maintaining and preparing a product, service, or project for optimal performance or delivery. Grooming Plan. Within ninety (90) days after the Effective Date, AT&T and GTE shall jointly begin the development of a plan (the “Grooming Plan”) which shall define and detail, inter alia, (i) standards to ensure that Interconnection trunk groups experience a grade of service, availability and quality in accord with all appropriate relevant industry-accepted quality, reliability and availability standards and in accordance with the levels GTE provides to itself, or any subsidiary, Affiliate or other person; (ii) the respective duties and responsibilities of the Parties with respect to the administration and maintenance of the Interconnections (including signaling) specified in Part IV and the trunk groups specified in Part IV, including standards and procedures for notification and discoveries of trunk disconnects; (iii) disaster recovery and escalation provisions; and
Grooming Plan. Within sixty (60) days of the Effective Date, Consolidated and Ameritech shall jointly develop a grooming plan (the "Grooming Plan") which shall define and detail, inter alia, ----- ---- (a) standards to ensure that Interconnection trunk groups experience a grade of service, availability and quality in accord with all appropriate relevant industry-accepted quality, reliability and availability standards; (b) the respective duties and responsibilities of the Parties with respect to the administration and maintenance of the Interconnections specified in Section 4.0 and the trunk groups, including but not limited to standards and procedures for notification and discoveries of trunk disconnects; (c) disaster recovery provision escalations as described on Schedule 8.1; (d) the types of errors or changes in Service Orders submitted to Ameritech by Consolidated that would significantly delay Ameritech's processing of a Service Order or require that such Service Order be re-processed; (e) the availability and price for the provision by Ameritech to Consolidated maintenance service on a priority basis, beyond the requirements of this Agreement and any applicable law; (f) emergency, manual procedures for the provision by Ameritech to Consolidated of certain operation support systems in case of equipment failure; and (g) such other matters as the Parties may agree.

Grooming Plan. On or before _____________, 1996, Focal and Ameritech shall jointly develop a grooming plan (the "Grooming Plan") which shall define and detail, inter alia, (a) standards to ensure that Interconnection trunk groups experience a grade of service, availability and quality which is comparable to that achieved on interoffice trunks within Ameritech's network and in accord with all appropriate relevant industry-accepted quality, reliability and availability standards; (b) the respective duties and responsibilities of the Parties with respect to the administration and maintenance of the trunk groups, including but not limited to standards and procedures for notification and discoveries of trunk disconnects; (c) maintenance of the SONET transmission system; (d) disaster recovery provision escalations; and (e) such other matters as the Parties may agree.
