Common use of Gear Requirements Clause in Contracts

Gear Requirements. While it is anticipated that Sector members will fish primarily with otter 13 trawls and sink gillnets, Participating Vessel may fish for Groundfish with any legal gear 14 including hook and line gear (demersal longlines, automated hook, jigs, and handlines), Scottish 15 seines, beam xxxxxx and pots. All Participating Vessels are subject to the same gear restrictions, 16 such as marking, tagging, mesh size, and number of gillnets, applicable to common pool vessels 17 using the same type of gear.
