Further Study. Request for leave of absence for personal illness or caring for a sick member of the immediate family must be accompanied by a physician’s statement. Except in emergency situations, requests for leaves of absence must be submitted to the administration no later than April 25. (1997-98) Teachers are returned from leave of absence in accordance with the Board of Education’s regulations.
