Common use of Funds Available and Authorized Clause in Contracts

Funds Available and Authorized. District reasonably believes as of the Effective Date that sufficient funds are available and authorized for expenditure to finance the cost of this Contract within District’s appropriation or limitation. Contractor understands and agrees that, to the extent that sufficient funds are not available and authorized for expenditure to finance the cost of this Contract, District’s payment of amounts under this Contract attributable to Services performed after the last day of the current fiscal year is contingent on District receiving appropriations, limitations or other expenditure authority sufficient to allow District, in the exercise of its reasonable administrative discretion, to continue to make payments under this Contract.
