Common use of Formal Progress Reviews Clause in Contracts

Formal Progress Reviews. Formal progress reviews are face-to-face meetings between the faculty member and the Mentoring Committee. The purpose of the formal progress review is to develop a written evaluation of the faculty member’s progress-to-date as compared to the promotion and tenure plan. Changes may be made to the promotion and tenure plan until the plan is finalized in year 4. Written summary of these reviews will be provided to the faculty member for inclusion in their promotion folder.
