Float Days. (a) In addition to the above-named holidays, full-time Radiation Therapists who have completed their probationary period, shall receive two (2) float holidays per calendar year. It is understood that these float holidays are equivalent of 7.5 hours each.
Float Days a. As of January of each year, all employees who have completed probation shall be entitled to the three (3) float days detailed above per year. Float days shall be taken at the discretion of the employee with the approval of the Supervisor within the calendar year in which they are earned and requests shall not be unreasonably denied.
Float Days. Employees will be directed to book any unused float days as of September 1st in the calendar year. The expectation would be that float days will be scheduled and taken within the calendar year. However, management will not be unreasonable when reviewing extenuating circumstances that would result in a request for payment for an unused day at year end.
Float Days. (a) Employees shall be granted four (4) float days with pay per calendar year. Float days shall be pre-scheduled, where possible, at a mutually acceptable time. Float days may be utilized for, but are not limited to, the following reasons:
Float Days. To help deal with the stress of a busy work life, there are five (5) extra paid days away from work that every Employee is entitled to receive. Float Days may be taken, one day at a time, by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Employee. Float Days may not be added to vacations. Float Days may not be accumulated and must be used up each year.
Float Days. New employees hired after March 7, 1996 shall be limited to one (1) float day in the first calendar year providing they work nine hundred and seventy-five (975) hours, and in succeeding calendar years they shall be eligible for three (3) float days providing they have worked nine hundred and seventy-five (975) hours during the prior calendar year. The float days may be taken at the discretion of the employee during the calendar year between January 2 and December 15. The employee must give two (2) weeks notice to the Employer of intent to take a float day and the notice to the Employer and the Employer's confirmation shall both be in writing. Once a float day is confirmed, it cannot be changed or carried forward. If an employee calls in sick and she qualifies for a float holiday, she may elect, at her sole discretion, to assign the day off sick as one of her float days and receive pay for it accordingly.
Float Days. In addition to the holidays referred to in Article 18.01, an employee will be entitled to two (2) float days. Float days must be taken within the calendar year or they will be lost and will be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to the Employer and the Employee. A Float Day cannot be accumulated, carried over or cashed out. Float Days will be paid at the regular hourly rate of the position that the employee was scheduled to work on the day the Float Day is taken.
