Float Days. (a) In addition to the above-named holidays, full-time Radiation Therapists who have completed their probationary period, shall receive two (2) float holidays per calendar year. It is understood that these float holidays are equivalent of 7.5 hours each.

Float Days a. As of January of each year, all employees who have completed probation shall be entitled to the three (3) float days detailed above per year. Float days shall be taken at the discretion of the employee with the approval of the Supervisor within the calendar year in which they are earned and requests shall not be unreasonably denied.
Float Days. Employees will be directed to book any unused float days as of September 1st in the calendar year. The expectation would be that float days will be scheduled and taken within the calendar year. However, management will not be unreasonable when reviewing extenuating circumstances that would result in a request for payment for an unused day at year end.

If an employee calls in sick and she qualifies for a float holiday, she may elect, at her sole discretion, to assign the day off sick as one of her float days and receive pay for it accordingly.
