Five (5) vacation workdays shall be picked first in accordance with seniority. Employees eligible for eight (8) vacation workdays shall pick in accordance with seniority following the five (5) workday schedules. Employees eligible for eleven (11) vacation workdays shall pick in accordance with seniority following the five (5) and eight (8) workday schedule. Vacation days may either be used in succession as a block of time or maybe taken in single increments. Vacation time shall be picked in 24 hour increments with up to five consecutive increments on the first round and up to three consecutive increments on successor rounds. After all employees have finished picking vacation time those wishing may divide up to three (3) of their days into 6, 8 or 12 hour increments so long as this does not fall on other picked days as per 16.05 of this Article and does not cause any overtime when selected. Bargaining unit members may not take more than 5 consecutive weeks of vacation, trade or compensatory time off and must work three (3) 24 hour work shifts before additional vacation, trade, or compensatory time can be taken.
