Fire-protection mechanic. a) In the case of a job site located outside the region of residence of an employee, the employer may, further to a written agreement with the majority union group, assign an employee or employees holding a journeyman competency certificate anywhere in Quebec, provided the employee(s) has (have) worked 1,500 or more hours for the employer in the construction industry in Quebec during the first 24 months of the 26 months preceding the issuance or renewal of his (their) competency certificate. In the event that an agreement is not reached, Article 15.01 shall apply with the necessary adaptations.
