Family Illness Absence. Consistent with the procedures of this subsection, up to ten (10) of a unit member’s allotted days per year may be used for family illness absence for care of a spouse, domestic partner, parent, or child.

Family Illness Absence. Consistent with the procedures of this subsection, up to ten (10) of a unit member’s allotted days per year may be used for family illness absence for care of a spouse, domestic partner, parent, or child. Unit members may use up to 20 days per year from their accumulated sick leave to care for members of the immediate family as defined in Section 23(H). Medical documentation identifying need for supportive care must be provided to the District upon request.
