Faculty Travel. Teachers and District Chairpersons who must travel between high schools and/or feeder schools as a result of their regular teaching assignments shall receive the amount on the table below for each one-way trip. Half of the stipend shall be paid with a separate check at the end of each semester. This does not include coaches or department chairpersons. Other mileage to be reimbursed, as to be determined by district policy, shall be paid at the IRS approved rate. Travel shall be first offered to faculty members in order of descending seniority and applicable certification. In the event of a tie between two members’ seniority and applicable certification, the tie shall be broken by lot. In the event that there are no teachers wishing to travel, the traveling faculty member will be chosen by administration.
