Common use of Eye Glass Replacement Clause in Contracts

Eye Glass Replacement. The Village at its expense shall repair or replace as necessary an employee’s eye glasses, contact lenses, or prescription sunglasses, if such are damaged or broken during the period while responding to until return from an emergency call, while training, or while performing other assigned duties and such incident has been documented to the reasonable satisfaction of the Fire Chief or his designee. This provision shall not be applicable if an employee’s eye glasses, contact lenses, or prescription sunglasses are damaged or broken during an employee’s non-assigned time.
