Extension of International Application to Successor State. (a) The effects of any international application whose international filing date falls in the period defined in paragraph (b) are extended to a State (“the successor State”) whose territory was, before the independence of that State, part of the territory of a Contracting State designated in the international application which subsequently ceased to exist (“the predecessor State”), provided that the successor State has become a Contracting State through the deposit, with the Director General, of a declaration of continuation the effect of which is that the Treaty is applied by the successor State.

  • Authority to Sign If this document is not signed by all of the persons comprising the Supplier, any person who has signed this document warrants to DFMC that it is duly authorised to sign and bind all the persons comprising the Supplier.

  • RIGHT TO AUDIT; SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS; AUTHORITY OF STATE AUDITOR By executing this Agreement, implementing the authority of, and accepting the benefits provided by Chapter 313 of the TEXAS TAX CODE, the Parties agree that this Agreement and their performance pursuant to its terms are subject to review and audit by the State Auditor as if they are parties to a State contract and subject to the provisions of Section 2262.154 of the TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE and Section 313.010(a) of the TEXAS TAX CODE.   • Notice of Successful Applicant The Employer shall, within three (3) calendar days, inform all applicants of the name of the successful applicant either in writing to each applicant or posting the name of the successful applicant in the same manner in which the vacancy or new job was posted.

  • Conversion to Single Currency 31.1 For evaluation and comparison purposes, the currency(ies) of the Tender shall be converted in a single currency as specified in the TDS.
