Existing Water Supplies. Since passage of the CVPIA, Xxxxxx NWR has relied on its existing well to provide Level 2 water supplies to the refuge. None of the Level 4 increment has been delivered to Xxxxxx NWR because of inadequate facilities to convey the water to the refuge. Alternatives for conveying Level 4 water supplies to Xxxxxx NWR are currently being evaluated (Reclamation, 1999).
