Common use of Evening Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Evening Shift Premium. Any employee who is required to work any hour or portion thereof, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. daily, shall be paid a shift premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. This premium shall be in the amount of fifty (50¢) cents per hour for each such hour, calculated to the nearest quarter-hour. The shift premium shall be paid for all hours to include overtime and hours worked on a General Holiday set forth in Article 9 of this Agreement.”
