EQUIPMENT USED WITH VIDEO SERVICES. Video Service is subject to the limitations and conditions set forth in CCVN’s Equipment Compatibility Notice in our annual notice to customers posted at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/support. As explained therein, you will need to lease a set-top box or use a retail device that uses a CableCARD for each television on which you wish to receive our digital video programming other than our basic service tier. You may purchase or lease a CableCARD from us at the rates posted on our website. You may request a professional installation of the CableCARD at our standard installation rates or elect to self-install your CableCARD. Our HD and DVR leased set-top boxes include an imputed charge of $2.99 for integrated security or for a CableCARD. All Customers using set-top boxes or retail CableCARD devices are responsible for a monthly Includes Integrated Interactive Access charge of $3.00 per device. This charge is included in set-top lease rates but is billed separately for CableCARDs used in retail devices since we offer the option to purchase rather than lease a CableCARD. EQUIPMENT USED WITH VIDEO SERVICES. (a) Set-Top Boxes. TV receivers or videocassette recorders will not be able to receive channels offered on our system. Use of a set- top box available from goBEC will allow you to receive channels or networks offered on our system. If your service is received through a set-top box, you may not be able to use special features and functions on TVs and VCRs. For example, some set-top boxes may not be compatible with TV or VCR features that allow you to view a program on one channel while simultaneously recording a program on another channel; record two or more consecutive programs that appear on different channels; or use advanced picture generation and display features such as “Picture-in-Picture.”
EQUIPMENT USED WITH VIDEO SERVICES. (a) Set-top boxes. Some models of TV receivers or videocassette recorders may not be able to receive all of the channels offered on our system. Channel compatibility problems may occur if equipment like TVs and VCRs are connected directly to the cable system. Use of a set-top box typically resolves these problems. Channel compatibility problems associated with the reception of programming that is not scrambled or encrypted programming can be resolved by using a simple converter device without descrambling or decryption capabilities. Converters are available from Metroplex and may be available from retail outlets in some areas. If your service is received through a set-top box, you may not be able to use special features and functions on TVs and VCRs. For example, some set-top boxes may not be compatible with TV or VCR features that allow you to view a program on one channel while simultaneously recording a program on another channel; record two or more consecutive programs that appear on different channels; or use advanced picture generation and display features such as “Picture- in-Picture.”

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Collocation of Switching Equipment CLEC may collocate any equipment that is necessary for Interconnection or access to Unbundled Network Elements.
