Equal Opportunity for Workers with Disabilities. (a) This Subcontractor and sub-subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-741.5(a) as of March 24, 2014. This regulation prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals on the basis of disability, and requires affirmative action by covered prime contractors and Subcontractors to employ and advance in employment qualified individuals with disabilities.

  • AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) Contractor must comply with the ADA, which provides comprehensive civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, public accommodations, state and local government services, and telecommunications.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“Act”), to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. DAS may Terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the Act.

  • Equal Opportunity Employment Consultant represents that it is an equal opportunity employer and it shall not discriminate against any subconsultant, employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, national origin, handicap, ancestry, sex or age. Such non-discrimination shall include, but not be limited to, all activities related to initial employment, upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising, layoff or termination. Consultant shall also comply with all relevant provisions of City’s Minority Business Enterprise program, Affirmative Action Plan or other related programs or guidelines currently in effect or hereinafter enacted.
