EMT Training Sample Clauses

EMT Training. Any employee scheduled to attend E.M.T. training which is canceled through no fault of the employee, shall be paid two (2) hours at time and one-half (1 1/2) for said cancellation. Upon cancellation, employees filling in for employees at the scheduled class will be paid in the same manner and relieved of duty.
EMT Training. Candidates for AEMT, EMT Intermediate, and Paramedic training shall be selected by the District. Selections for such training shall be made from qualified employees desirous of such training within the fiscal and staffing constraints of the District. Such constraints will determine the degree to which the District supports tuition, material costs, and time-off for employees involved in training to obtain an EMT license. Requests for said training shall be made to the Training Chief via Official Report three
EMT Training. The City agrees to provide all training and re-certification for represented employees to maintain County of San Diego EMT certification. EMT training will be provided on City time (during regularly scheduled work hours). Fire Investigation Training – Up to $500 annually will be provided to employees assigned to Fire Investigation for specialized training in fire investigation that is considered necessary by the Fire Marshal and approved by the Fire Chief.
EMT Training. Compensation will not be awarded to employees attending EMT Training.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.
