Common use of Employee Involvement Clause in Contracts

Employee Involvement. A. Employees that produce the products and/or services of an organization, have an untapped value. That value is the knowledge, experience, insight and motivation which should be called upon in the normal course of business. Decision making, problem solving and overall performance will be greatly enhanced by involving employees in the decision making process. Employees have a right to participate in making decisions which affect them. Failure to allow them to participate, results in frustration and alienation. On the other hand, involvement provides an opportunity for greater job satisfaction and self esteem. The business goals of both the Company and the Union will be achieved more completely with a well designed and jointly administered process of employee involvement.
