Effect of Re-employment on Leave Accrual Rates. A former employee re-employed in Court service shall not be entitled to accumulative sick leave benefits unless his return to Court service is the result of reinstatement within one (1) year of termination of employment OR is a result of re- employment after a layoff due to lack of work, lack of funds, or in the interest of economy. Employees who are reinstated within two (2) years of termination of employment will be returned to the same vacation accrual rate at which they left.
