Effect of Break in Service. When an employee separates from state service and subsequently returns to state service with the Department’s Criminal Justice Division within a two (2) year period, except as a temporary employee, the employee’s previous recognized service date shall be adjusted by the amount of break in service and in accordance with Section 2a above.
