DUTIES OF OFFICE. An employee has a duty to uphold the law and to act on all occasions in accordance with the law, the policies of Council and the trust placed in them by their employer and the public. They have a general duty to act in the best interests of Council and the Municipality of Xxxxx Springs as a whole. An employee acknowledges that without detracting in any way from their legal obligations, they also have a general duty to abide by the principles of personal conduct set out in the Code when carrying out their duties.

  • Duties of Officers Except to the extent otherwise provided herein, each Officer shall have a fiduciary duty of loyalty and care similar to that of officers of business corporations organized under the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware.
