Direction of the Authority Board. The services provided in this MOAAGREEMENT shall be at the direction of the Board of the Authority, although the County is and shall remain the employer of any staff providing services hereunder. The County shall be deemed an independent contractor to the Authority, and the Authority shall have no authority to terminate, suspend, reprimand or otherwise discipline any County employee providing services hereunder, but shall direct all employment issues and complaints to the County which shall have absolute discretion to act.

  • Decision of the Board The decision of the majority shall be the decision of the Board. Where there is no majority decision, the decision of the Chairperson shall be the decision of the Board. The decision of the Board of Arbitration shall be final, binding and enforceable on all parties, and may not be changed. The Board of Arbitration shall not have the power to change this Agreement or to alter, modify or amend any of its provisions. However, the Board shall have the power to dispose of a grievance by any arrangement which it deems just and equitable.

Such members shall be appointed within two (2) months from the date one Contracting Party has informed the other Contracting Party of its intention to submit the dispute to an arbitral tribunal, the chairman of which shall be appointed within two (2) further months.

  • Committee Authority The Committee shall have all discretion, power, and authority to interpret the Plan and this Agreement and to adopt such rules for the administration, interpretation and application of the Plan as are consistent therewith.   • Recognition of the Association The County recognizes the Government Supervisors Association of Florida, OPEIU, Local 100, ("Association") which has been certified, by the Florida Public Employee Relations Commission, Certification Number 1289, as the sole and exclusive representative of the employees within the Bargaining Unit, as described pursuant to PERC Case No. EL-2000-013, and as amended by mutual agreement of the parties for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment. References to “Supervisory” in this Agreement will include all Bargaining Unit members.
