Definition and Time Limits. a) Any complaint, disagreement or difference of opinion between the Employer and the Union or the employees covered by this Agreement, which concerns the interpretation or application of the terms and provisions of this Agreement, shall be considered a grievance.

Any employee, authorized agent of the Union or authorized agent of the Employer may present a grievance. Any grievance which is not presented in writing within ten working days following the event giving rise to such grievance is abandoned and all rights under the Grievance Procedure are lost.
