DAILY TRANSFERS. a) In the event that a line must be shut down due to equipment failure, a shortage of materials, or staffing requirements, those employees working on the line affected shall be transferred to work available regardless of seniority, excepting that if jobs are available within the Department, these shall be assigned to the most senior of the employees affected by the line shutdown. Senior displaced employees shall not, however, be entitled to bump out junior employees posted to a line.
