Common use of CUSTODY OF WORK Clause in Contracts

CUSTODY OF WORK. All work and materials before being finally taken over by Government will be the entire liability of the contractor for guarding, maintaining and making good any damages of any magnitude. It is however to be understood that before taking over such work, Government will not put it to its regular use as distinct from casual or incidental use except as specially mentioned elsewhere in this contract or as mutually agreed to.
