Contribution of work by the candidate. It was my responsibility to conduct and coordinate the follow-up of the offspring at 25 years under the supervision of Dr X Xxxxxx (Primary Supervisor and Lecturer, Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London [KCL], UK) and Prof X Xxxxxxxx (Secondary Supervisor and Professor, Institute of Psychiatry, KCL, UK). I was responsible for obtaining ethical approval for the follow- up and also contributed to the study design. A trained research assistant (XX) helped with the tracing of participants and also interviewed 18 (17.5%) of the offspring, whilst I interviewed the rest. Phlebotomy staff at the National Institute for Health ResearchWellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility at King’s College Hospital (KCH) assisted with the collection of blood samples. Staff at KCH Phlebotomy Department processed and assayed all blood samples. Dr X Xxxxxxxx (Lecturer, Institute of Psychiatry, KCL, UK) carried out all of the salivary cortisol assays. I was responsible for all data entry and coding. Dr X Xxxx (Visiting Psychiatrist, Institute of Psychiatry, KCL, UK) was consulted for the rating of psychiatric diagnoses. I conducted all of the statistical analyses.

  • TERMINATION BY THE CONTRACTOR If the Work is stopped for a period of thirty days under an order of any court or other public authority having jurisdiction, or as a result of an act of government, such as a declaration of a national emergency making materials unavailable, through no act or fault of the Contractor or a Subcontractor or their agents or employees or any other persons performing any of the Work under a contract with the Contractor, or if the Work should be stopped for a period of thirty days by the Contractor because the Architect has not issued a Certificate for Payment as provided in Paragraph 9.7 of these General Conditions or because the State has not made payment thereon as provided in Paragraph 9.7, then the Contractor may, upon seven additional days written notice to the State and the Architect, terminate the Contract and recover from the State payment for all Work executed and for any proven loss sustained upon any materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and machinery, including reasonable profit and damages.

  • Termination by the Owner for Convenience § 14.4.1 The Owner may, at any time, terminate the Contract for the Owner’s convenience and without cause.

  • Damages for delay by the Concessionaire In the event that (i) the Concessionaire does not procure fulfilment of any or all of the Conditions Precedent set forth in Clause 4.1.3 within a period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the date of this Agreement, and (ii) the delay has not occurred as a result of failure to fulfil the obligations under Clause 4.1.2 or other breach of this Agreement by the Authority, or due to Force Majeure, the Concessionaire shall pay to the Authority Damages in an amount calculated at the rate of 0.2% (zero point two per cent) of the Performance Security for each day's delay until the fulfilment of such Conditions Precedent, subject to a maximum of 20% (twenty percent) of the Performance Security.
