Common use of Continuation of Leave Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Leave. 12.1 If an employee has exhausted all existing leaves, both paid and unpaid, and desires to be absent from the District for up to one (1) additional year, the employee may apply for a continuation of his/her unpaid leave.
