Conditions and Eligibility for Election of Coverage. a. Subject to the terms and conditions provided in subsection 3.b. through 3.f. of this Article, below, employees who choose to elect the amount of life insurance coverage provided in subsection 1., above, must appear on the City's regular payroll as full-time (40 hours per week) employees for 180 consecutive calendar days or as half-time (at least 20 hours per week) employees for 365 consecutive calendar days following the initial date of their employment with the City.
