COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. a. Each adult Tenant shall comply with the Community Service Requirements set forth in Section 12(c) of the Housing Act of 1937, as it may be required by HUD. Generally, these requirements require all adult residents who are not employed, elderly, or disabled, or otherwise exempted to contribute 8 hours per month of community service or participate in an economic self-sufficiency program for 8 hours per month, or perform community service and participate in an economic self-sufficiency program (“combined activities”) for 8 hours per month.
