Committee Rights. A. The Committee is a public body established under and with the powers provided by the statutes of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and nothing in this agreement shall derogate from the powers and responsibilities of the Committee under the statutes of the Commonwealth or the rules or regulations of the agencies of the Commonwealth.
