C&I Cable Trays and Trunking.  Cable trunking shall be used where cables are exposed to areas were damage can occur during normal plant operation.  Galvanised steel conduit shall be used for all C&I cabling not running on cable trays or cable trunks.  C&I cable trays and power cable racks are spaced a minimum of 1000mm apart. Cable racks must be in accordance with NWS 1527 and heavy duty cable trays will be utilised.  Where C&I cable trays and power cable racks cross each other, the crossing is at 90' angle to avoid the possibility of electromagnetic induction.  To avoid damage to the sheath of C&I unarmoured cables, appropriate cleats, saddles and clamps shall be used to fix the cables to cable trays.  Cables shall be fixed in such a way as to prevent strain on terminals and connectors. Enough slack shall be catered for when making off cables.  C&I cables shall not stacked higher than the supporting edges of the cable tray or cable trunks.  The galvanized conduit installation will not interfere or require dismantling during removal of plant components for maintenance.  The installation of all cables shall be done in such a way that operational and maintenance activities will not cause accidental damage.  Control and instrument cables shall be supported on the cable tray along the entire length of the cables.

  • Switching System Hierarchy and Trunking Requirements For purposes of routing iNetworks traffic to Verizon, the subtending arrangements between Verizon Tandems and Verizon End Offices shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements Verizon maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic (i.e., traffic will be routed to the appropriate Verizon Tandem subtended by the terminating End Office serving the Verizon Customer). For purposes of routing Verizon traffic to iNetworks, the subtending arrangements between iNetworks Tandems and iNetworks End Offices shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements that iNetworks maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic.

  • Trunk Group Architecture and Traffic Routing The Parties shall jointly engineer and configure Local/IntraLATA Trunks over the physical Interconnection arrangements as follows:

  • Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CBB chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CBB’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CBB to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG.
