Common use of Children with Special Health Care Needs Clause in Contracts

Children with Special Health Care Needs. Children with special health care needs are those who have or are suspected of having a serious or chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally. The Contractor will be responsible for performing all of the same activities for this population as for adults. In addition, the Contractor will implement the following for these children:

The Contractor will be responsible for performing all of the same activities for this population as for adults. In addition, the Contractor will implement the following for these children:

Children with Special Health Care Needs. a) Children with special health care needs are those who have or are suspected of having a serious or chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally. The All children who are HIV-infected are by definition children with special health care needs. For all children with special needs, whether or not they are HIV-infected, the Contractor will be responsible for performing all of the same activities for this population as for adults. In addition, the Contractor will implement the following for these children:
