Health Care Operations. Health Care Operations shall have the meaning set out in its definition at 45 C.F.R. § 164.501, as such provision is currently drafted and as it is subsequently updated, amended or revised.

Health Care Operations. “Health Care Operations” shall have the same meaning as the term “health care operations” in 45 CFR §164.501.

We may also use and disclose medical information to: □ evaluate the performance of our staff and your satisfaction with our services; □ learn how to improve our facilities and services; □ determine how to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of the health care we provide; and □ conduct training programs or review competence of health care professionals.

Health Care Operations. Health Care Operations provided that (i) the requesting Subscribed User has an established Treatment relationship with the Individual who is the subject of the PHI; (ii) the purpose of the request is for those Health Care Operations listed in paragraphs (1) and (2) of the definition of Health Care Operations in 45 CFR § 164.501 or health care fraud and abuse detection with respect to use of the HIE or compliance with this Agreement’s requirements; and (iii) the Subscribed User is requesting/accessing PHI for its own use. Subscribed User shall only use or disclose the Minimum Necessary PHI for such Health Care Operations purposes.
