Common use of Change Orders and Contract Amendments Clause in Contracts

Change Orders and Contract Amendments. 14.1.1. APDCL may at any time direct the AMISP through a written notice to change the number of meters proposed to be installed (“Change Order”). No Change Order that has the effect of varying the number of meters to be installed beyond +/- 20% of the original number of meters shall be issued by the Utility without prior consent of AMISP. Provided however that upon expiry of time period specified in 3.3.2(o) of this AMISP Contract if the Utility has not been able to provide clearance/ approval/ permits for installation of the meters, the Utility shall issue a Change Order no later than 7 days of expiry of such time period confirming the actual number of meters for which clearance/ approval/ permits is available.
