Catastrophic Closure. In the event of cancellation of all classes due to a catastrophe, such as a natural disaster or pandemic, the Coordinator may assign additional class and work assignments after consultation with the teacher. The Coordinator may also allow first right of refusal for additional work assignments throughout the District. Notwithstanding (A), above, a teacher shall not see their base annual salary in accordance with Schedule A or B of this agreement reduced by more than 20% due to class cancellations.
