Common use of Cancellation of Assignment Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Assignment. 5.3.2.1 Substitute teachers shall receive, at minimum, twenty- four (24) hours’ notice of cancellation of assignment. During this twenty-four hours’ notice period, the substitute may be offered an alternative assignment at the same school. Should the substitute decline the alternative assignment, the substitute shall not be paid.
