Call-in From Off-Duty for Overtime Work. Employees called-in on overtime from off- duty status shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours overtime. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation must be provided to the employee to avoid paying the call-in pay. The employee may be required to work the full two hours. Call-in of an employee from off-duty status for an overtime assignment shall be subject to the following provisions. In those instances where an employee has called in sick, or taken sick, for reason of their health, or that of their family, the Department will have no obligation to contact them during the actual period of their shift in the event of a call-in of employees for that shift. Call-ins that occur outside the employee’s normal shift hours will be treated in the normal manner.

  • Recall from Layoff Full-time and regular part-time nurses shall be recalled in the order of seniority unless otherwise agreed between the Hospital and the local Union, subject to the following provisions, provided that a nurse recalled is qualified to perform the available work:

  • RECALL FROM LAY-OFF Laid off employees shall be recalled in order of seniority provided they possess the requisite qualifications, skill and ability to perform the work available.

  • Deduction from Sick Leave A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days absent for sick leave.

  • Pension Contributions While on Short Term Disability Contributions for OMERS Plan Members When an employee/plan member is on short-term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OMERS contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.

  • PAYMENT FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES CONTRACTOR shall notify LEA when Medi-Cal or any other agency is billed for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or the ISA to LEA pupils. Upon request, CONTRACTOR shall provide to LEA any and all documentation regarding reports, billing, and/or payment by Medi-Cal or any other agency for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or ISA to LEA pupils.

  • Allocation of Overtime Subject to the operational requirements of the service, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort:

  • No Layoff to Compensate for Overtime Employees shall not be required to layoff during regular hours to equalize any overtime worked.

  • Deductions from Sick Leave A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days (exclusive of holidays) absent for sick leave.

  • LIMITATION OF COUNTY LIABILITY FOR DISALLOWANCES 10.1. Notwithstanding any other provision of the Agreement, COUNTY will be held harmless by CONTRACTOR from any Federal or State audit disallowance and interest resulting from payments made to CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Agreement, less the amounts already submitted to the State for the disallowed claim.
