Bereavement. 16.01 After six (6) months of employment, employees shall be granted time off from work, with pay, to a maximum of three (3) scheduled work days, in the event of death in their immediate family. The term "immediate family" shall mean spouse, parent, child, brother or sister, mother- or father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents, common law spouse, stepparents, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and grandchild. One (1) day off, with pay, will be granted to an employee in the event of the death of their aunt, uncle, niece, nephew or grandparent-in-law.
