Common use of Banked Holiday Time Clause in Contracts

Banked Holiday Time. Notwithstanding Clauses 8.09, 8.10 and 8.11, an employee on a continuous shift schedule may elect to bank eight (8) hours of straight time per paid holiday, instead of receiving holiday pay. Such time shall be taken at straight time at a mutually agreeable time between the employee and the Company. Should this banked holiday time be paid out to an employee, then it shall be paid out at straight time. The maximum amount of banked stat time shall not exceed sixty (60) hours.
