Athletes Obligation. 2.1 Athletes are to attend and follow (within reason) all training and competitive schedules as programmed for each national squad. Athletes must be committed to achieving and maintaining fitness and performance targets as specified by SG. To that end, the Athlete shall: • Adhere to the agreed training schedule and fulfil its requirements, • Train in a disciplined manner whether or not coaches, team managers or parents are present in the training arena or in the gallery, • Participate in local and overseas competitions on the advice and planning of SG and the national coaches, • Participate in tests and comply with recommended treatment by SSI/NYSI sports medicine and sports science division to enhance performance and prevent injury, • Work closely with SG and the assigned coaches to identify and agree on performance goals and support service requirements to design an adequately comprehensive training programme, • Maintain close and regular consultation with their coaches and Sport Development Manager with a view to monitor and ensure continued progress, • Contribute and participate in progress report meetings with coaches, parents and SG when scheduled.

Related to Athletes Obligation
