Common use of ASSOCIATION DUES CHECK OFF Clause in Contracts

ASSOCIATION DUES CHECK OFF. (A) The City agrees to deduct from the paycheck of each employee within the bargaining unit who has signed an authorized payroll deduction card such amount as has been designated as Association dues and is so certified by the Treasurer of the Association. The Association will provide to the City Human Resources Department, in writing, the current rate of membership dues. Thereafter, the City will be notified of any change in the rate of membership dues at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such change.
