Maintaining Transitional Duty Sample Clauses

The Maintaining Transitional Duty clause requires an employer to provide modified or alternative work duties to employees who are temporarily unable to perform their regular job due to injury or medical condition. Typically, this involves assigning tasks that accommodate the employee’s restrictions, such as lighter physical work or adjusted schedules, until they are able to return to their original position. The core function of this clause is to facilitate a smoother transition back to full employment for injured workers, minimizing lost productivity and supporting employee recovery while reducing the risk of long-term disability claims.
