Common use of Assignment of Contribution Rights Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Contribution Rights. LQ will transfer and assign (or cause another member of the LQ Parent Group to transfer and assign) to a member of the CPLG Group all rights to seek contribution or damages from any applicable third party (such as a third party who aggravates an injury to a worker who makes a workers’ compensation claim) with respect to any workers’ compensation claim for which CPLG is responsible pursuant to this Article VII. CPLG will transfer and assign (or cause another member of the CPLG Group to transfer and assign) to a member of the LQ Parent Group all rights to seek contribution or damages from any applicable third party (such as a third party who aggravates an injury to a worker who makes a workers’ compensation claim) with respect to any workers’ compensation claim for which LQ is responsible pursuant to this Article VII.
