Approvals Necessary Clause Examples

The 'Approvals Necessary' clause defines the requirement for obtaining specific consents or authorizations before certain actions or decisions can be taken under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines which parties must provide approval, the types of actions that require such approval—such as entering into subcontracts, making significant changes to the project, or incurring major expenses—and the process for securing these consents. Its core practical function is to ensure that all stakeholders retain oversight and control over key decisions, thereby preventing unauthorized actions and reducing the risk of disputes or unintended obligations.
