APPOINTMENTS - INTERDEPARTMENTAL TRANSFERS OF FACULTY. A faculty member who is assigned courses in another Department will remain a member of his/her original Department, unless an authorized permanent transfer is arranged by written mutual agreement of the receiving department and the individual faculty member, or unless a cross appointment is made pursuant to the terms of this Agreement. Note: Article 5A applies to pre-tenure faculty members hired on July 1, 2015 or later, and pre-tenure faculty members who are hired prior to July 1, 2015 who have elected to be covered by the terms of Article 5A.
