Common use of Application of Collective Agreement Clause in Contracts

Application of Collective Agreement. Permanent part-time employees shall be eligible for all provisions of the collective agreement between the Kingston Police Services Board and the Kingston City Police Association Inc. (Civilian Members), with the exception of articles 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (except 14.5, 14.6, 14.7, and 14.15), 15, 16 and 23. All articles (civilian agreement), with the exception of articles 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 23, shall apply to other part-time employees. Where a conflict arises between this schedule and the collective agreement, the terms of this schedule shall prevail. The foregoing represents the articles in accordance with the 2003 collective agreement. Any subsequent changes to the collective agreement are not deemed as amendments to this provision unless specifically addressed as such by the Board and Association. (2004)
