Application for Vacancies. It is the right of the School District to select the best qualified candidate for an open position. All applications will be considered by the School District and final decision for employment, advancement, transfer or promotion will be made by the School District after considering the qualifications of all applicants. Qualifications of applicants will include background, training, seniority, experience, education and aptitude for the position. If it is determined by the School District that two or more internal candidates are equally qualified for an opening, the senior qualified employee will be assigned to the position. Upon request by the employee, senior employees not selected will be provided the reason(s) in writing by the responsible administrator with a copy to the Executive Director of Human Resources and the Union Chief Xxxxxxx.
