Common use of An employee on Medical Clause in Contracts

An employee on Medical. Emergency Leave who has received the approval of his/her physician and the Center for Employee Health and Wellness to return to full time work shall have all unused Medical Emergency Leave up to 176 hours converted to an equal amount of sick leave which will be available to the employee according to the applicable Sick Leave Article of this Agreement. Any unused Medical Emergency Leave in excess of 176 hours shall be returned to the donor(s) in accordance with procedures established by the County.

An employee on Medical. Emergency Leave who has received the approval of his/her physician and the Center for Employee Health and Wellness to return to full time work shall have all unused Medical Emergency Leave be eligible to retain up to 176 hours converted to an equal amount of sick leave which will unused Medical Emergency Leave. Such hours shall only be available to used for the employee according to same purpose and in the same manner as Sick Leave and in accordance with the applicable Sick Leave Article provision of this the Agreement, however, such hours shall not be eligible for conversion (e.g., cash-out). Any unused Medical Emergency Leave in excess of 176 hours shall be returned to the donor(s) in accordance with procedures established by the County.
