Amendment to Custodian Agreement. The Custodian Agreement is hereby amended to add the following new Section 17A:
Amendment to Custodian Agreement. This Amendment, dated as of November 17, 2021,amends the Global Custody Agreement dated as of December 14, 2006, as amended to date (the "Custodian Agreement"), by and between State Street Bank and Trust Company (the "Bank") and each of the investment companies and other pooled investment vehicles (which may be organized as corporations, business or other trusts, limited liability companies, partnerships or other entities) managed by Capital Research and Management Company and listed on Appendix A thereto, as amended from time to time (each, a "Customer"). Bank and each Customer hereby agree as follows:

Amendment to Custodian Agreement. The parties hereto, comprising all parties to the Custodian Agreement, agree that Section 27 of the Custodian Agreement is amended to read in its entirety as follows: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bermuda and each of the parties hereto submit to the non- exclusive jurisdiction of the Bermuda courts; provided that matters relating to the perfection of a security interest in the Pledge Account and any assets held therein, the effect of perfection or non-perfection of such a security interest and the priority of such a security interest shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of New York (not including conflict-of -law rules).
Amendment to Custodian Agreement. This Amendment to the Custodian Agreement is made as of June 29th, 2001 by and between each of the registered investment companies listed on Exhibit A hereto (each a "fund" and such fund or series of a fund hereinafter referred to as the "Fund") and State Street Bank and Trust Company (the "Custodian"). Capitalized terms used in this Amendment without definition shall have the respective meanings given to such terms in the Contract referred to below.
